There are two things you can do with the Mystik Media-developed application Blaze ImgConvert. The first thing you can do with the application is convert images from one format to another. Just load any image you can think of into the application, select the output, and let it do its job. It can perform single and batch conversion jobs in a blink. The second thing you can do with the application is resize images; Blaze ImgConvert comes with an “Enable Resize When Converting” option.

Blaze ImgConvert works with numerous Windows editions, from Windows 95 all the way up to Windows 7. To install the image converter on any of these Windows editions, you need to download and run a small executable. A setup wizard will show up when you run the executable and will take you through the steps needed to get Blaze ImgConvert up and running.

From top to bottom, you will see the following buttons and panes on Blaze ImgConvert’s interface: buttons to add files to be converted, remove files from the list, and launch the conversion process; a pane that lists the file selected for conversion; a pane with options to convert and resize the selected images.

Blaze ImgConvert provides support for a long list of image formats – more than 140 formats as a matter of fact. This means that you can take just about any image file you can think of and load it into the Blaze ImgConvert application. Once loaded into the application, you can convert the file to BMP, GIF, ICO, JPG, PDF, PNG, PNM, and TIF. You can also choose to resize the image, choose if you want to delete source files, and play with a couple more output options.

Please note that Blaze ImgConvert is free to try for a 15-day trial period. To keep using the image converter once this evaluation period expires, you will have to purchase a license.

With the Blaze ImgConvert application, you can convert images from one format to another and you can resize the images as well.

Pros

Blaze ImgConvert provides support for numerous image formats and for many Windows editions. Use the application to convert and resize images. Batch conversion is supported.

Cons

Free to use for a 15-day trial period.
